Many of us have felt and seen the effects of Hurricane Helene at the end of September. Our hearts go out to everyone who this event has greatly impacted. Many are still trying to get back to something close to “normal” while many others are starting over, after losing so much. Western North Carolina was greatly affected by this storm and there have been some concerns about whether DMA’s Fall Classic in November will still be held. Yes, the contest is still scheduled, there has not been any change. We are looking forward to this event and if there is any further information, especially for travel concerns, it will be posted on the DMA website, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
