DMA is offering another round of Critiques to any twirler (DMA or other organizations) starting July 20th - 25th. Through a Facebook group event set up by DMA and can be found on the DMA website - www.dmatwirl.org or through the events on the DMA Facebook Page – Drum Majorettes of America - DMA – July DMA Critiques you will be connected with a DMA Gold Seal Judge that will view routines via Facebook Messenger Video. There will be about 10-15 Gold Seal Judges available to be connected with and 1 guest judge that will participate as well. These critiques will be offered for this week and there may be another time scheduled later on.  

 

Here are some details:

• Critiques Will Be On -

  • Solo

  • Fancy (Straight Line only)

  • 2 Baton

  • 3 Baton

  • Halftime

  • Show Presentation

  • Dance Solo

  • Interview (*NEW*)

• Sessions will be offered both during the day and in the evenings - 10 AM - 8 PM.

• Contestants will choose date and time that suites them (please provide a selection of dates and times that are suitable for you).

• The only requirements from the contestant are that they will need a good internet connection – stable video to see performance – the location where they will perform needs to be adequate (may want a 2nd choice location if preforming outside and the weather changes)

• Contestants can wear suitable practice attire.

• Twirlers will provide their own music

• For march music, search online on Amazon Music, Google Play, or iTunes. Please listen to songs before twirling, some may be at a different tempo then what you may be used to.

• The critiques will be between judge and contestant no other twirler or teacher can connect in on the session. Parent or coach can be available to listen in on critique – If needing clarification, they may ask.

• $ 10.00/ per event – This includes scoresheet and verbal feedback, about 15 minutes verbal feedback to the contestant.

• Package DEAL – sign up for 4 critiques and get a 5th critique free. They can do multiple critiques of the same routine with different judges i.e. Solo/ Solo/ Fancy/ Halftime/ Show Presentation.
